These are the constitutive elements of our mission:
The transformation of society through working for just structures
Collaboration
Empowering people
Dialogue and respect for cultures
Ecumenism
Integrity of creation.

Today Spiritans are facing the future with renewed confidence and trust in the Holy Spirit. Priorities for the coming years are:
First evangelisation and development work - especially in countries that have been destabilised by civil wars.

Pastoral and humanitarian help for refugees, migrants, minorities and marginalized young people.
Dialogue with Islam and other religions.
A relevant training for the demands of missionary life today.
Collaborative ministry with other men and women of good will and the development of associate lay membership in the Congregation.

The greatest challenge for us is to present the Christian message in our world. We are called to work in partnership and collaboration.
Partnership with others who share our vision but not necessarily all our beliefs.
Collaboration with our Spiritan Associates and co-workers.
