Lay
people have been associated with the Spiritan Congregation since the
foundation of the order, working at many different levels of partnership.
At present there are Associates in many countries around the world.
The Associates
recognise that they are called through their baptism to be a holy
people, striving to build God's Kingdom on earth by living out their
particular Christian vocation in the context of their lives and their
works.We
are involved in: Hospital and School chaplaincy,Bereavement counselling,
Rainbows-bereavement/separation support in schools,Parish council,Parish
Development,Provincial liturgy team,Sheltered accomodation for homeless,Spirasi,Prepatory
commission for Irishprovincial Chapter 2006 and Overseas mission in
El Salvador.

We
pray and trust that the Holy Spirit, who has moved and guided our
Province thus far, will continue to work in our midst.Wherever we
are being led, we pray that through weakness and strength, we will
be united and caring. With love and concern for one another, we can
with peace and harmony, be free like Libermann's feather to be blown
where God wills.
