The Provincial Archives is the centre for the documented history of the Irish Spiritan Province and of the Mission countries around the world where Irish Spiritan missionaries preached the gospel.They tell the story not only of the ecclesial history but also of many aspects of the political and sociological developments that have taken place since the founding of the Province in 1859. It is important that we be aware of our history today; this history is largely thanks to our predecessors who took care to record and preserve what was happening. They believed it was their duty to record for future generations of Spiritans.The aims of the Archives therefore is to collect, organise, preserve and make available to the Province, records of historical and research value just as the records we create today will have a historical value tomorrow.Click on image to right entitled 2000 years of Evangelisation, to see Spiritan People.
